The Spring 2025 issue of Leaven, the Seminary’s magazine, was sent to press February 28, 2025, and arrived in mailboxes around April 30. Thus the back cover announces the commencement speaker of Cardinal Seán Patrick O’Malley, O.F.M. Cap., as did invitations sent out prior to the passing of Pope Francis on April 21. The Cardinal will be at the Conclave of Cardinals in Rome and unable to attend this year’s event. Hopes are that he will visit Saint Vincent Seminary in the future.
