Deacon Dr. William Hisker, P’65, C’69, S’05, retired as an adjunct faculty member of Saint Vincent Seminary at the end of the spring semester and as a regular faculty member of Saint Vincent College. During his tenure at Saint Vincent, Dr. Hisker served in the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics, and Government as a professor of business administration. A deacon serving in the Diocese of Greensburg, he is a 1965 graduate of Saint Vincent Preparatory School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Saint Vincent College in 1969 and a MRCPL (professional master’s degree) from the University of Oklahoma in regional and city planning in 1973. He earned a doctorate in public and international affairs from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981 and the Master of Divinity degree, with high honors, from Saint Vincent Seminary in 2005. He had been a member of the Seminary’s adjunct faculty since 2012.
