John Szalewicz has been named Director of Music for Saint Vincent Seminary, starting with the fall 2010 semester.

He will serve as organist, accompanying all seminary liturgies and events. A 1977 Saint Vincent College graduate, he has been employed by Saint Vincent Basilica Parish since 1993. He previously served in the same capacity for the Seminary from 2000 to 2008.

Other work experience includes serving as Music Director and Organist for the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irwin, prior to his joining the staff of Saint Vincent.
