Kelly Shrum New Coordinator Of Assessment

Kelly Shrum of Billings, Montana, has joined the staff of Saint Vincent Seminary as the coordinator of assessment.

Shrum is new to Saint Vincent. She moved to the area with her husband, who is ridge caretaker for the Archabbey, and their three children in July of 2021.
Shrum has a background in independent field work, working for Idaho Fish and Game. She also has a background in resort and hospitality management working as the resort general manager for Lochsa Lodge.

Her diverse background brings a fresh take on the coordinator of assessment position with strengths in organizational skills and data analysis.
The coordinator of assessment works in analysis and assessment of data, management and oversight. In addition to writing skills, the coordinator must have a well-developed understanding of equity, diversity and inclusivity, and confidentiality in the context of Seminary and graduate-level education.

Shrum holds a bachelor of arts degree in biology from the University of Montana, graduating in 2012. Her focus was ecology and organismal Biology. In addition to her office skills, Shrum excels both as a wife and mother of 3. She manages the home front with passion and love and hopes that that will carry over to her new position at Saint Vincent.
