Saint Vincent Seminary honored Carl A. Anderson, Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus, at its May 9 commencement. In Trust magazine featured the Seminary in its New Year 2003 edition, the Seminary hosted a breakfast for bishops in Washington, D.C., and held diaconate ordination this spring. Alumnus Rev. James E. Somma, Jr., was more than just a “father” to his parishioners, he adopted two Vietnamese children. News of his passing is in this edition of Leaven. Father John Haney was keynote speaker at the Seminary’s scholarship dinner. Several new students enrolled this spring and first-year priests Greg Wilson and Stuart Crevcoure are featured.
