Mr. John P. Marous, Jr., Chairman of the Seminary Board of Regents, announced a $6.1 million capital campaign for the Seminary. Dr. George Weigel’s commencement address is printed in this issue and photos of the visit of Francis Cardinal Arinze to the Seminary are featured. Father Kurt Belsole, O.S.B., was named Interim Seminary Rector during the sabbatical leave of Father Thomas Acklin, O.S.B. A two-page article with photos details the growth of the Seminary’s Hispanic Ministries program and Father Thomas J. Kram was honored for a lifetime of service to the Seminary with establishment of a scholarship in his name. New students were welcomed to campus, the new group photo published, and a group photo of the 2000 graduates is included. Dr. Scott Hahn taught at the Seminary during the fall semester, new liturgical artwork was installed, as well as a new organ in the chapel. There are five pages of alumni news and notes.
