Ministry of Parenting Program Upcoming

The Institute for Ministry Formation at Saint Vincent Seminary is hosting a special event, “The Ministry of Parenting,” with special guest speakers Alicia and Michael Hernon, hosts of the renowned podcast “Messy Parenting.” On November 17, the Hernons will offer reflections and lead parents in exercises to foster prayerful growth in parenting at the Fred Rogers Center on the Saint Vincent campus.

The day will begin with Mass at 8:30 a.m. in Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica. The Conference will start at 9:30 a.m. in the Fred Rogers Center.

Families are the domestic Church and parenting is one of the the most important ministries in the Church. The day is designed for married couples, or parents who can attend alone. This workshop is an opportunity to grow in exercising parenting as a ministry that can sanctify parents, children and the greater society through evangelization as a family.

This gathering will also provide participants with an opportunity to develop relationships with other dedicated Catholic parents. Child care activities will be provided by Saint Vincent College Education Department students.

Registration is $25 per person, $40 per couple, and $10 per each child up to a maximum of $50. This includes lunch and child care activities. Register today!
