Saint Vincent Seminary welcomed seven new seminarians in 2026-2027, from the dioceses of Covington, Kentucky; Steubenville, Ohio; Pittsburgh and Scranton.
DIOCESE OF COVINGTON
Evan N. Ihrig is from the Diocese of Covington. He is a 2019 graduate of Saint Henry District High School, Erlanger, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and systems engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. He completed his propaedeutic year at The Pontifical College Josephinum, Columbus, in 2025-2026. His parents are Mark and Jennifer Ihrig of Hebron, Kentucky.
DIOCESE OF STEUBENVILLE
Aaron M. Pabin is from the Diocese of Steubenville. He graduated from Union Local High School, Belmont, Ohio, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Pontifical College Josephinum, Columbus, in 2026. He has also studied at Belmont College, St. Clairsville, Ohio and West Virginia Northern Community College, Wheeling, West Virginia. His parents are Philip and Tina Pabin of Belmont, Ohio.
DIOCESE OF PITTSBURGH
Joachim Chibuzo Ezeora is from the Diocese of Pittsburgh. A native of Obeledu, Anambra State, Nigeria, he is a 2004 graduate of Ibilokha Secondary School, Ibillo, Edo State, Nigeria. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and English from the University of Nigeria in 2015 and a Master of Arts degree in theology from Duquesne University in 2023. His parents are Anthony Okafor Ezeora of Obeledu, and the late Martina Uzoamaka Ezeora.
Benjamin G. Remlinger is from the Diocese of Pittsburgh. A native of Pittsburgh, he graduated from Baldwin High School in 2018 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Pennsylvania State University in 2022. His parents are Gary S. and Melanie Remlinger of Pittsburgh.
Matthew D. Takach is from the Diocese of Pittsburgh. A Pittsburgh native, he is a 2016 graduate of West Mifflin Area High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary math education from Duquesne University in 2020. His parents are David and Laura Takach of West Mifflin.
DIOCESE OF SCRANTON
Leonel Ojo-Gonzalez is from the Diocese of Scranton. A native of Chepo, Las Minas, Herrera, Panama, he is a 2019 graduate of Padre Segundo Familiar Cano, Monagrillo in Chitre. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish literature and secondary education from Wilkes University, Wilkes Barre in 2025. His parents are Reyes Ojo and Tomasita Gonzalez Pérez of Chitre.
Faustinus C. Ugo of Aba Imo State, Nigeria is from the Diocese of Scranton. He is a 2009 graduate of Lily International Secondary School, Oyigbo, Rivers State, Nigeria. He earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Seat of Wisdom Seminary, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, in 2021. His parents are Richard and Georginia Ugo of Imo State, Nigeria.
