Saint Vincent Seminary is seeking comments from the public in preparation for its comprehensive evaluation visit by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools.
In February 2026, Saint Vincent Seminary will host a visit from the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools. Saint Vincent became an associate member of the Association of Theological Schools in 1966 and a full, accredited, member in 1984. A team from the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools will evaluate Saint Vincent for the purposes of re-accreditation.
The Commission welcomes third-party comments on schools scheduled to receive such visits. The public is invited to submit comments regarding Saint Vincent Seminary to the Director, Commission Information Services at: accrediting@ats.edu or 412-788-6505. Comments should typically relate to one or more of the Commission Standards of Accreditation, available at the following link: https://www.ats.edu/files/galleries/standards-of-accreditation.pdf .
All comments must be in writing, must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its graduate academic and ministerial programs, and must be received by January 30, 2026.

Saint Vincent Seminary became an associate member of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) in 1966 and a full, accredited, member in 1984. The Seminary is hosting a comprehensive evaluation visit for reaffirmation of accreditation by the ATS Commission on Accrediting on February 9-12, 2026. The purpose of this visit is to verify that the school meets all applicable Commission Standards of Accreditation.
