The course is designed to study the canon law of the Church in order to provide the student with a fuller understanding of the rights and obligations of both the Christian faithful and the ordained minister in the sacramental life of the Church. Half of the course will examine the sacraments of initiation, penance, anointing of the sick, orders, and issues of ecumenism. The other half will concentrate on the sacrament of matrimony.
